Happy Sunday y’all! What a week. It’s been SO hot and humid this week that our AC is struggling to keep up. I’ve resorted to cooking as little as possible and doing all my chores that may cause the house to be hot first thing in the morning or in the evening. Yesterday, we took a day trip up to Nashville and went swimming with the cousins. Today we are all worn out. Reading wise, it was a good week. For the first time in several years, I finished four books this week 🙌

I always read more in the summer because I prefer to stay in the aircon than venture outside, I hope yours holds out!
Wishing you a great reading week

Same. I prefer the AC over the heat unless I can be pool or lake side. Hope you have a great week!
It’s great you are enjoying summer reading and fun even if it is HOT. I’m finding it isn’t as hot as I feared it would be especially if the humidity is low or there is a good breeze.

Same here! The humidity was killer last week, but the temps are the same this week with no humidity so it feels much better. Still hot, but at least I can breathe in it today 😂
