Happy Sunday! So I’m a day early but I thought that would be okay 😉 I can’t believe that August is already over though. I mean I feel like I just did July’s month in review!
August was a buys month for us. Little man started preschool which he loves and I love as I get three blissfully quiet hours to myself four days a week! On top of that I’ve been working on a little side project that I hope to share with you all in the next couple of weeks. It happens to be my other passion….you know besides my family and books 😉
The COYER Summer Scavenger hunt is almost over! It finishes on the 4th. I’ve already met my goal of 20 books. I think I’ve actually read something like 25 but I still have a couple of reviews to write.
This month was a slow reading month for me. In fact it was bordering on a slump. I only read 14 books this month….okay as I write that I realize that maybe it wasn’t so much as slump as it was I read only “meh” books this month. I started the month reading the Lux series (5 ‘s all the way) and have basically spent the month in a hangover!
What have you done this month? Read any good books I should know about?

Favorite August Read

Book Cover for "Consequences (Lux, #3-4)" by Jennifer L Armentrout
Book Cover for "Ensnared" by A.G. Howard

I’ve already said it but I’m gonna say it again….I LOVE the Lux series. Seriously it can’t get any better 😀

Ensnared was a fabulous conclusion to the Splintered series by A.G. Howard. I loved it!

Favorite August Quote

“The littlest things I once took for granted have become priceless treasures.”  ~from Ensnared by A.G. Howard
