Happy Sunday y’all! Today is the last day of Summer vacation before little man returns to school tomorrow. I’m not ready. I know I’ve said that now for a month, but I’m not. I love having him home. This week we had fun. We colored, we read (little man read Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss all by himself!), we played in the rain. One day we got out and went to see The Emoji Movie which was cute but had more adult jokes than I cared for in a children’s movie. Yesterday we celebrated my grandmother’s 80th birthday and had orientation at my son’s school. So today we are doing nothing. We are cuddling on the couch, watching Star Wars, and eating cookies. I will soak up all this time before I don’t have him tomorrow and I will enjoy every minute of it.

This Week’s Book Fix
What are you reading this week?
This week I plan to keep myself busy. I’ve got a lot of reading and crocheting to catch up on, along with some organizing and more house decorating (all that paused while my son was home for the summer). We are almost finished with our binge of Hart of Dixie. Any recommendations for what we should watch next?
I actually got Fallen Heir this week from the publisher! I’m so excited for it and I’m currently reading it as well.
Have a great week!

Enjoy your last day of summer with your son! You got some great books! I know lots of people were clamoring to get a copy of Fallen Heir so congrats! I wonder if its a cliffhanger like Paper Princess and Broken Prince? If so, I will probably wait until they are all out to read it! (I forget plots so easily that if its a duet or trilogy I have to wait!)

Aww I’m glad you’ve had so much fun with your little one this week. My daughter is starting PreK at the beginning of September. I know she is going to do great but it’s going to take some getting used to for me. I’m a stay at home mom so I’m used to her being here with me. It only 3 days a week for a couple hours but still! lol. I’m also currently working my way through Mask of Shadows. I’m almost halfway thru now. I’m enjoying it so far. Hope you enjoy it too, and have a great week!
