Hello March 😀 February was a long, busy month for us. Little man turned 7 and begged to have his party at home. So we converted our home to a Star Wars theme for the day and had 13 children under 9 running around (plus 3 under 2). Needless to say it was a fun, crazy day. For those that have been following my infertility journey, we completed a second cycle of IUI last month and unfortunately the results were negative again. It’s disappointing but we aren’t giving up yet. We are taking this next cycle off. My husband will be at a conference and well….he’s kinda needed 😉
In February, I managed to read 6 books (one I DNFed) and listen to 4 audiobooks. I’m really staying in a groove this year and so far doing well on all of my reading challenges. I’m even 9 books ahead on my Goodreads challenge which is a first for me.

Wait, should she really be eating this doughnut if she was going to have to be in a cocktail dress in a few hours? Shouldn’t she be drinking vitamin water or green juice or something? Eh. She took another bite and went back to her emails.

This Week’s Book Fix
What are you looking forward to in March?
Spring break will be here in another week and I cannot wait to have my son home for the week. I love spending time with him and unfortunately he’s starting to want more time to himself. So maybe I can get some quality one on one time during his break. We are planning a trip to Dollywood during the break, just for the day and it’s the day they open so I’m sure they will be packed but it will be fun 😀
Reading wise I don’t expect to get a lot read with my son being out for the week, but I do have high hopes. I’m participating in the Caffeinated Reviewer’s Take Control of Your TBR Pile Challenge and plan to read 10 books off my ARC backlist.
What am I looking forward to…the warm, sunny weather. 🙂

Sorry to hear that you didn’t have luck with this treatment, but my fingers are still crossed for your next try!!
I’m so behind on keeping up with blogs, there are a few of your TTTs I have open meaning to read. *rolls eyes* Ah well. SO excited to hear that you’re having a better reading year this year Lillian, you deserve it!
Awe thanks Lenore! We have high hopes for the next cycle (which will be in April). We also haven’t ruled out adoption either.
It really is a great reading year so far. Hope yours is just as good if not better!
I have Spring Fever! Have a great week ahead:)
Me too! I worked out in the gardens yesterday getting them spring ready. I’m ready to start planting!
