Happy Sunday y’all! How is it that June is already over?! I cannot believe how quickly this year is going by. June was busy, but also not….if that makes any sense 😂 I feel like I’m finding a reading groove again, though next month may be more challenging for me as I start to shift gears and prepare for the next school year with little man1. That always takes away from my reading time. But I digress, this month was excellent. This month I managed to read 7 books and listen to 3 audiobooks which isn’t quite back up to my previous 12-15, but much better than 2-3 which is where I was at this spring. Not only did I get back into a reading groove, I started blogging again after a short hiatus. I’m glad to be back.
- I should probably stop calling him little man. He’s taller than me now and officially a teen 😅 Old habits die hard. ↩︎

Had to laugh at your tiny print – my own ‘little man’ is 12 and will be taller than me by the end of this year, for sure! Lots of books that sound interesting – thanks for sharing 🙂

Yay for getting back into a reading groove! The new Tahir book has a beautiful cover and I’ll be sure to get it for my students as I loved her first series. Hope you have a good week!

You have definitely had a better reading / blogging month in June. It does seem like this year is going quickly. There were many amazing June releases. The top reads for me were: Look on the Bright Side by Kristan Higgins, Winter Lost by Patricia Briggs, and A Ruse of Shadows by Sherry Thomas. Also White Trash Zombie Unchained which was not a new release. In July I’m going to hear Spyro Gyra. I think I have all their albums and I played saxophone from 4th grade through college and even in a work band for a short time.

I’m glad you’re getting your reading mojo back. March and April were hard reading months for me as well due to some health issues. I’m glad to be back to reading and blogging. I hope you have a great week!

Yay for getting the reading/blogging groove back! That’s always fun! Bummer that it’s happening right when you’re getting the not-so-little man ready for school again though. Hopefully you’ll still get some reading time in, Sustained Silent Reading was always my favorite part of any class! Lol.
Ooh nice new read! I couldn’t bring myself to request that one. I have the feeling I won’t even touch that book until next year or whenever I have the sequel in my hands. Knowing how Sabaa’s first series went and my poor tortured frame of mind, I figure I can wait this one out. Hopefully. Probably. I must! Lol.
Happy Reading!

Have a GREAT day!

That looks like an awesome reading month. My “little man” is taller than his dad, also still a teenager. Hope you have a great weekend.
