Well, 2018 is over and I’m kinda ashamed to give this final update. I didn’t do so hot. In fact, I bombed a couple of these challenges. My Goodreads challenge included 🤦🏼♀️ I read 87 books this year, the lowest number since I started blogging. It was a rough year. Here’s hoping 2019 is better. Now to the challenges. At the start of 2018, I dialed back the number of challenges I signed up for from 8 in 2017 to 5 this past year. I completed 2. See below for a breakdown of each challenge (also please note several books listed, I still need to review so you’ll see those popping up this year) and check back tomorrow for my 2019 challenges.

The 2018 Reading Assignment Challenge was hosted by Berls and Michelle @ Because Reading. The point of this challenge is to simply make a list of books you plan to read (1-4 books per month) and choose books to read from that list. It’s harder than you think 😉 I decided to stick with Reading Level 1 (1 book per month). There was a new component that allowed you to choose your books for Spring Semester (Jan-June) and Fall Semester (July-Dec) with Fall due in June. Yeah I forgot to sign up for Fall 🤦🏼♀️ I managed to read 5 of the 6 books I’d chosen for Spring Semester. Here are the books I read:
- Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor

- Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige
- Carve the Mark by Veronica Roth
- Warcross by Marie Lu

Congrats on the great job. I did pretty good, but not as well as I wanted in those blogger shame reviews. This year will be the year I catch up, then the key is keeping up. lol I need to check and make sure I have updated all of mine. I think the Blogger Shame is one the only one that needs it.

I’ve banned myself from Netgalley until I’m caught up. But it is so hard to go on and not look at what’s new!
