Happy Sunday y’all! I cannot believe it is the first day of August. This summer flew by for us. Little man will be starting school tomorrow, and I’ve spent the last few weeks studying and prepping for our 5th grade year. I’m so excited about our curriculum this year, specifically the Language Arts. It’s heavy on literature and studies grammar through the study of literature. We will be reading some of my all-time favorites, and I think my little reader will enjoy them too.

Reading wise, it started off slow but picked up quickly by the end of the month. I ended the month with 9 books read, 10 if I happened to finish my current read after writing this. August looks to be busy with the start of school, plus our Summer of Love reading challenge is still in full swing, not to mention all the birthdays we have in August….there’s a lot 😆

  1. It’s amazing how fast summer goes by! Next weekend is our state’s tax free weekend and I always remember stocking up on school supplies on this weekend! Lol. Currently debating if I want to buy myself a new ipad this weekend or if Black Friday might have a better deal. The new updates keep taking up all my space!

Nice new read! Hope you enjoy this one once you get to read it!

    Here’s my StS

    Have a GREAT day!
