Happy Sunday everyone! I cannot believe that the first month of the new year is officially over! How is that possible?! Only 5 more months before we move home and we are getting so excited ? The closer it gets the more excited I get. Whether we rent or buy it doesn’t matter anymore. We’ll be home!

January was a fairly relaxed month. We had winter storm Jonas that kept us indoors for about a week and we went home for a long weekend in the middle of the month. Reading wise I read 16 books and reviewed 23 (yikes!). I played catch up on the blog especially the week that it was down because the server was under a DDoS attack. What did you read in January?

Favorite January Read

Ten Thousand Skies Above You by Claudia Gray was definitely my favorite read this month! It surprised me by being better than the first AND of course it has Paul ?

Favorite January Quote

One day down, three hundred sixty four to go. Was that really all we had? Hours to make up each day, days to make up each week, weeks to make months, and months to make a year. And then, bam!—another year gone by.

What are you looking forward to in February?

In just a few weeks my baby will be 5 ? He’s supposed to stay my baby forever!!! He’s growing way to fast. Little man was a slow talker and really didn’t start talking much until this time last year and no we will tell you a full story and you can understand him! I’m so proud of him and what he is becoming but I want time to slow down.

A week after little man turns 5, I hit the big 3-0. Talk about a double whammy right?! I’m not going to be one of these women who celebrate my first 29th anniversary, I’m going to embrace it….gray hairs and all! Because yes, those decided to start showing up this past year and they aren’t gray….oh no….they are white! At least I have dirty blonde hair. It blends in well ?

Lots of fun author interviews, the blog’s 2 year anniversary, and more are coming up in February so be looking for those things!!! And hey guys, did you notice the Facebook page is growing?! I don’t know what happened last month but we got almost 100 new followers ? If any of you are sharing the page, thank you!!! When we hit 500, I’ll do something a little special just to say thanks ?

What are you doing next month? Any big plans?
