Happy New Year everyone! I can’t believe 2015 is gone 😀 December was a great month. We had a lot of fun and spent a week back home at Christmas with family. Only 6 months before we move back permanently! We are counting the days 😀 In December I read 10 books (really 12 since the eBook of Oblivion is 3-in-1) and reviewed 13 books. I’m slowly catching up on reviews 😉 This past week has been relaxing. I rang in the new year with a cold, cutting my fingers (nearly to the bone), and my team won their bowl game #VFL #GBO Today we’re taking down the Christmas tree and organizing all of little man’s new toys.

Favorite December Read

Oblivion by Jennifer L Armentrout was my favorite read last month. I disappeared into this bad boy for a week and don’t regret a minute of it! Daemon Black is my favorite boy to hate 😀

Favorite December Quote

What if love doesn’t have to be losing yourself? What if instead it’s about realizing that here is one person who I can be real with, who can see me in all my good and more importantly, my bad and realize despite my flaws, I’m worth being connected to?

What are you looking forward to in January and 2016?

2016 is looking to be a better year than 2015, though it doesn’t have to try hard to be 😉 Next week little man goes back to school and our break ends. We had unusually warm temps in December and January has started off much cooler. In fact we are projected to get a little snow this week 😀

I’ve joined several reading challenges this year and I’m excited to start on those this month. What are you reading to kick off 2016?

  1. Happy New Year. It’s my first time joining the Sunday Post so I’m new at this.. But I love reading all these posts.

What a great book selection you have there. I’ve never read a book by Sarah J. Maas, but I bought ‘A Court of Thorns and Roses’ a while ago. I hope I have time to start reading it soon.

    Have a great week 😉

  2. Happy New Year!! We took down our tree today too and put everything back in storage. It was a lot more work but it is nice to get the house back to normal. I hope you love Marie Force and Katy Regnery. I’m huge fans of these authors and they have some characters that I really love. I hope you enjoy all your new books and have a great week =)
