Happy Sunday y’all! I cannot believe we are already into August. Where did July go?! July felt like a busy month for me, but in truth looking back I can’t think of a single thing we did. I think it felt busy because I was without a washing machine the whole month. Lowe’s determined our machine was “nonrepairable” after coming twice to attempt to fix it. I’m still not sure I 100% believe them, the machine was only 15 months old, but I’m not going to complain. They gave us a full refund, and I’m getting a new machine which should, hopefully, be here tomorrow. I’ll be so glad to not have to lug our laundry to my parents’ house, though I am also so thankful they live close and offered to let me use their machine instead of going to the laundromat.
Reading wise, July was a good month. I read 9 books and listened to 2 audiobooks. I read nothing that I had planned to read, which means August will be packed with ARCs that I need to finish, but I don’t mind. It was nice to take a month and just read stuff off my TBR.
Yesterday was Amanda’s anniversary with her husband. So wish her a happy day 🙂

Thank goodness for parents. We ours broke my mom would take out stuff to wash. I almost didn’t want to get the washing machine fixed. She would bring it back folded. 🙂

No washing machine would suck! My dryer and microwave have been broken for months. I’ve learned to cope without them because no one has been able to fix them yet. Have a great week!
