Happy Sunday y’all! I can’t believe tomorrow is October. Where has 2018 gone?! Every month seems like it moves faster and faster. September was busy! We had Book Fair at little man’s school, Grandparent’s Day, Fall Festival, hubby’s birthday, and SO many other things going on. As a result, I really slacked off on reading. I managed to read only 4 books this month and hope to finish the one I’m on today and bring that to 5 🤦🏼♀️ October is a little slower. We have Fall Break and that is it. August and September always wear me out between starting school and all the birthdays 😉
Favorite September Read
Seeing as I only read four books, I figured I’d just post them all. Not really fair to pick one 😆

I need to look into The Naughty Princess Club, those look like fun books. I didn’t read a lot this month either, I didn’t read a lot this year at all. It’s been a strange year for me. I am hoping to end strong but don’t think I will make the Goodreads goal but that’s ok there is always next year 😉
We had a book fair at my daughter school this week also and it was very dangerous lol
I hope you have a great week, Lillian! Happy Reading! ox

It’s been an off reading year for me too! I’m at half of what I normally have read by now and just barely that. Hoping things pick up 🤷🏼♀️
The Naughty Princess Club is a cute series. Romantic Comedy which I love ❤️The second and third books are my favorites.
Hope you have a good week Michelle!
September did fly right by!!! We have lots of September birthdays in my family too. 🙂
The Rise of Witches looks good!! And I have Godsgrave on my list. 🙂 I loved Nevernight!
I haven’t read Nevernight yet but couldn’t pass up the sale price on Godsgrave. Now hopefully I can binge them soon. Hope you have a great week!
Sounds like you had a full month with lots being done. Sounds nice you still managed to fit 4 books in and maybe you can read more next month. Are those first 3 books you read part of a series? It’s nice to be able to read some books in a series in a row sometimes. I hope October is a good month for you!

They are! I received the third book for review and even though they can be read as standalone I like to read series in order. It’s a fun, contemporary retelling. Belle and Ariel’s stories were my favorites. Sometimes I really enjoy romantic comedy like these.
Hope you have a great week Lola ☺️
Oh nice new reads! I still need to read The Last Namsara but still found myself ordering the next one! Hopefully it was a smart move! Lol! Happy Reading!
Here’s my STS
Have a GREAT day!

I haven’t read it yet either. I saw that it was on sale and grabbed it up so I could. It was one of my most anticipated and I just haven’t had the time yet to read it. Now I own it so I don’t have an excuse 😉
Here;s to a more relaxed October with a bit more time for reading. I’m happy for the temps in the 80s instead of the 90s with night which are comfortable. Plus I get a week off work in October. Yay! Enjoy your reads! Anne – Books of My Heart
Amen to that!! It feels so good here right now. Even though it’s still in the mid-80s, the humidity isn’t as bad so it doesn’t feel that hot. Hope you enjoy your week off!
It sounds like you’ve been busy. I slacked off on my reading, too, but I don’t have an excuse. I just fell asleep whenever I tried to read. Happy October!

That’s what happened to me this past month too! I just couldn’t stay awake, no matter how good the book was!
